Rupert

Rupert's been privileged enough to have learned to DJ with the submaniac crowd. He plays a mixture of hardhouse and hard trance - anything from funkyish boucey stuff to get the crowd going at the start of the night through to full on madness to finish the night off. Rupert has his own distinctive style, chopping tunes up with each other with the aim of creating that elusive third tune and eeking the maximum energy out of the music. He is always bouncing away with a big grin on his face behind the decks.

Rupert is also resident at Milk and Kweezee and he plays regularly at Just Groove.

I've thought long and hard about how to describe my music, bar the usual hard house and trance label. Here's what I've come up with:

It doesn't really matter whether it's fast or slow - more that it's got a drive to it. Sometimes it's sassy and funky, other times it soars and flows. I love my intelligent melodies and acid noises, but, above all, I love the epic-y feel to it. My music takes you somewhere. Hope you get off on it as much as I do :)
