Submaniac & Knowwhere
Cancerbacup Fund-raiser @ Heaven

Well, what can we say. After the fund-raiser last year at Imperial Gardens where you all helped us raise over £4,000 for cancerBacup, we were very excited to be working with Heaven this year - a bigger venue means raising more money for our good cause :) We've done the final count and are so very pleased to let you all know that you've all helped raise an amazing:

£8,760

All money raised will be going to our favourite charity cancerBACUP.

Of course a party like this took a lot of organising, so we owe huge amounts of thanks to shed loads of people for their help, advice, encouragement, time and services. It was all of you coming to party with this motley lot doing their thing for next to nothing (mostly nothing) that meant so much money was raised.

Thanks to:

  • Everyone who came to party.
  • Special thanks to the Submaniac crew, Knowwhere crew and Endorphin crew but most of all to Pablo, Nicki, & Paul Jedi.
  • The parties who helped us on our way: Knowwhere, Endorphin & Devilicious.
  • The wonderful decor: Beatriz Betancort (bbjespana@hotmail.com).
  • All the djs: Ali Wilson, Matt Smallwood, EJ Doubell, Stimulant DJs, Yomanda, James Lawson, Jay Pidgeon, KayGee, Donna Birt, Oceanforce, Raymondo, Simon Field, Rupert, Matt Wilson, Ian Betts, Joanna McEwen, Mat Mara, Danny Gilligan, *Ting*, Brett Mantis.
  • And the rest: Richard Thomas@sandstorm (photos), Paul Jedi's Flyering squad, Cyberdog, Kevin@clubhed, all the Milk crew, Cheeky little monkey, Element-7, Energy UK djs, Sleepless, Adam@cyber-clubber, Garry Brace, Sam Mason, Liz Knight, Nadia Brown, Jamie Stickman & Glenn Dunwell @stickman (visuals), Heaven, and the 414 and CancerBACUP for all their support and help.
  • ...then there's all those we've forgotten to mention - it's inevitable there's some - thank you all too.

...and of course none of this would have been possible without Jacky who put in an unbelievable amount of work and managed somehow to get the whole thing together in only 5 weeks. We've done extensive research on this and no-one's actually quite sure how she did it (most of all Jacky), but it sure worked!

All I can say is watch out for next years party :)
